I had the same problem, now when I open the games multiplayer options I have to manually select 'enable' for PunkBuster. Just a bit of a ball ache as it takes a massive 3 seconds to do.. Punkbuster is no longer supported for this game. Running 'pbsetup.exe' fixed it for me. It's in the install folder.
